Doug & Colletta live in Pretoria, South Africa with their two children, Eletsa and Joshua. South Africa is a developing country that has recently come out of Apartheid but still suffers from ethic and racial divides and from economic inequality. And while there is a Christian presence in the country, most of it is caught up in keeping tradition or focused on a "health-and-wealth" gospel that it has minimal impact in the making of disciples and societal transformation.
Having lived and ministered in South Africa for more than 10 years, Doug & Colletta continue their work of disciple-making and bringing ethnic reconciliation to the country. In the past few years their roles have expanded with an increasing global focus to train, mentor, and bring societal change among those they work with.
Doug continues to focus on identifying, training, and mentoring key Jesus leaders for disciple-making movements in Africa, Europe and Asia. He also creates sustainable structures to support leaders and sustain movements. One of these new structures is a Global Prayer Network for Movements.
Colletta writes, speaks, blogs on ethnic healing and justice. She has a ministry of inner healing prayer and racial reconciliation. She also has a focus on forming teams to mobilize more people of color into missions.
Novo is a band of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for mission around the world.
